    Inside Sales Specialist

    The Inside Sales Specialist will be critical in Intrepid Group Ltd.'s sales cycle. You will support our automation and instrumentation products, solutions, and services by coordinating proposals and orders and managing customer inquiries. The Inside Sales Specialist will uphold and promote the company mission, vision, and core values, ensuring that Intrepid Group Ltd. is represented with integrity to customers and our partners.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prepare proposals, correspond with customers (both verbal and written), support order entry, and other similar activities
    • Respect and apply the corporate communication requirements and policies regarding quote submissions, support follow-ups as needed, and review and prepare orders for entry
    • Inform all internal parties, such as account managers, vendors, and technical sales representatives, about quotation-related activity
    • Develop in-depth knowledge of Intrepid Group Ltd. products, solutions, and services
    • Develop and foster long-term relationships with business partners and co-workers

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and articulately in both oral and written form
    • Minimum 3 years of industry-related experience. Preference will be given to individuals who have experience with inside sales
    • Technical background with a preference for post-secondary education. Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering will be given preference
    • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with team members
    • Driven, motivated, and resourceful to achieve company and personal goals
    • Ability to multi-task — experience with Microsoft Office products
    • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) would be an asset

    Working Conditions

    • Office-based role, 40-hour work week
    • A hybrid work arrangement with up to two days of remote work, with the other days in the office if based in Calgary or Edmonton — promotes flexibility while fostering teamwork and collaboration
    • Expected travel is limited. However, the Inside Sales Specialist may be required to travel occasionally to support our customers
